My passion, my family and me!!

I am Rathy and I write this blog. I live in Tamilnadu. I have been very interested in cooking (or you can say more interested in eating ;-) )right from college days. But have never tried anything properly till marriage. Its been a year since I am married and now I try and cook different items ( I have got a person who doesnt have any go but to eat whatever I cook right :-P ). Anyway, the idea of me starting a blog came when I started browsing the Internet for different recipes.
Some words about my family. My Amma and Appa (Mom and Dad) are both very good cooks. My mother makes the world's best sambhar and gulab jamun. My Dad is an expert in making butter buns, samosas and potato omelettes. I have a sweet younger sister and she just praises me for whatever I cook.

My husband (Balaguru) is my pillar of support. He stands by me in everything I do. He always gives me complete freedom in following my passions. And he is also my best food critic. Without him I never would have started this blog.

My mother in law is also a wonderful cook. Her dishes will always have the perfect consistency and texture. Her speciality is vadacurry which my husband loves a lot.
